Claude is an AI assistant. Connect it to SOFT-WHERE Games once, then just describe a game and it builds the world, writes the rules, tests it and hands you a link to play. Four steps, a few minutes, free to start.
1
Step 1: Make your SOFT-WHERE Games account
This is where your games are saved and where your character lives. Accounts are free, for players 13 and up.
Go to claude.ai and sign up with your email or Google account. The free plan works: it lets you add one custom connector, which is all you need.
Already use Claude? Skip to step 3.

Step 3: Add the SOFT-WHERE Games connector
Do this once, on a computer, at claude.ai. After that it works in the Claude phone app too.
In Claude, open Customize → Connectors.
Click + Add → Add custom connector.
Name it SOFT-WHERE Games and paste this address, then click Continue:
Connector URL
https://games.soft-where.dev/api/mcp
Under OAuth client, pick Use your own OAuth client and enter this Client ID (leave the secret blank):
Client ID
swg-mcp
Click Add. Claude opens a SOFT-WHERE Games sign-in: sign in with the account from step 1 and approve.
Claude can only build in your account, and nothing goes public until you say so. Claude's menus move around now and then; if yours look different, see Anthropic's connector guide.

Step 4: Paste a starter prompt
Start a new chat in Claude. Click the + under the message box → Connectors and make sure SOFT-WHERE Games is on. Then copy one of these and send it:
Starter prompts
Easiest first game
Lava obby
Using SOFT-WHERE Games, make me an obstacle course floating over lava. Five checkpoints, a spinning bar to jump over, platforms that move side to side, and a timer with a leaderboard for the fastest run. Make it work on phones too. Test it, then give me the play link.
Ranch
Blizzard round-up
Using SOFT-WHERE Games, build a 3D ranch game. I'm a ranch hand on a wide-open prairie and a blizzard is rolling in. Ten cattle are scattered across the pasture and I have to herd them into the corral before the storm hits. The snow gets heavier every 30 seconds, cattle drift away if I'm not near them, and a barn gives me a speed boost. Keep a leaderboard for fastest time. Test it, then give me the play link.
Racing
Badlands rally
Using SOFT-WHERE Games, start from the racing circuit and turn it into a dirt rally through badlands: red rock, gravel, a creek crossing and a jump. Three laps against an AI rival truck, checkpoints so nobody can cut corners, and a best-lap leaderboard. Test it, then give me the play link.
Target range
Coyote patrol
Using SOFT-WHERE Games, start from the target range and make a 60-second prairie challenge: pop-up coyote targets behind sagebrush and fence posts, a scoped rifle, bonus points for long shots, and a high-score leaderboard. Test it, then give me the play link.
Survival
Survive the winter
Using SOFT-WHERE Games, start from the survival island and turn it into a Dakota winter: snow everywhere, a cold meter that drops when you're outside, a cabin you can warm up in, and wood you have to chop to keep the stove going. Survive five nights to win. Test it, then give me the play link.
Multiplayer
Paintball with friends
Using SOFT-WHERE Games, make a team paintball game in an old farmyard: a barn, hay bales and a grain bin for cover, a flag in each base, and first team to 10 tags wins. Make it good for playing with friends in a room. Test it, then give me the play link.
Then make it yours
Play it, then say what's wrong. “The platforms are too fast.” “Add a second level.” “Make it night.” Claude changes it and you play again.
Something broke? Describe what happened (“I fall through the floor at the second checkpoint”) and Claude fixes the code.
Went sideways? Every save is a version. Ask Claude to go back to an earlier one.
Happy with it? Tell Claude to publish. Player-made games are listed first on the games page. You can also find and edit everything in Studio.
If something doesn't work
›The sign-in page shows an error
Remove the connector and add it again, and make sure you picked Use your own OAuth client with Client ID swg-mcp.
›Claude says it can’t reach SOFT-WHERE Games, or makes a game in the chat instead
Turn the connector on for that chat (+ → Connectors), and start your message with “Using SOFT-WHERE Games”.
›Claude says to finish setting up your account
Sign in here on the website once and confirm your date of birth and the Terms of Use. Then try again.
›I can’t add another connector
The free Claude plan allows one custom connector. Remove one you don't use, or upgrade your Claude plan.
›Something else
